Inès Bressand trained in Ghana to create woven straw bags, alongside local craftsmen who set the price of their creations themselves.
The braided straw models are made by hand from elephant grass harvested in the savannah. Each strand is cut, rolled, then woven into the desired shape.

Then it is in Ardèche, France that the studio team gives the bags their final shape and adds handles, or shoulder straps in vegetally-tanned French leather.
