PLAQ
In April 2018, Sandra Mielenhausen and Nicolas Rozier-Chabert turned away from their respective careers and flew to Venezuela and then to Peru to discover agricultural lands and cocoa producers. They trained in a small village in Chuao with a cocoa and chocolate expert. From their travels, they learned the importance of taking the time to choose the right cocoa beans and scrutinizing each stage of processing.
After a year of learning, they founded PLAQ in September 2019 and became roasters and chocolate manufacturers. They opened their first factory, boutique and café 4 rue du Nil.
